Q. How can I make a reservation ?

Q. What documents are required to rent a vehicle ?
A. A valid local or international driving license. All other driving licenses must be endorsed by the Automobile Association of Sri-Lanka. This procedure could be arranged for a fee of USD 10.00
Q. Does the rental price of the vehicle include insurance costs ?
A. The rental price includes insurance costs subject to an excess of USD 125.00
Q. Are there any mileage restrictions ?
A. Shineway-Rent-a-car permits 100 Kms per day, free of charge. Please see our vehicle listings for excess mileage charges.
Q. Where can I pick up the vehicle once I arrive in the country ?
A. You could pick up the vehicle at our office. As an additional service, we provide an airport pick up for an extra charge of USD 30.00
Q. If unsatisfied with the rental vehicle, can I change to another ?
A. This is possible, depending upon the availability of the requested vehicle.
Q. What is the payment procedure? Is a deposit required on the rental vehicle?
A. The total rental fee must be paid at the time of collecting your vehicle. A refundable deposit of USD 200.00 for cars, USD 250.00 for vans and USD 300.00 for Jeeps are required.
Q. Credit card payments?
A. All major credit cards are accepted.
Q. What are Shineway Rent-a-Car office hours?
A. We are open daily 8 am – 7 pm. Prior arrangements may be made for returning or collecting a vehicle beyond these hours.
